Late Night Nonsense

Greetings, welcome to blog number one. I must apologize now, it’s 3:30 in the morning, I just got back from quite an escapade at a (semi) local Dennys which invovled camera, french fries, hot chocolate, cultural bashing, childish theivary, and imature uses of cars.

 All in all, quite the exciting evening - I totally love my new dorm building.

The upcoming weekend looks to be a fun one, filled with homework (catching up and working ahead *snort*), have to head home, bake a cake for my roommate’s bday (which was today/yesterday) and do some regular work.

On a different note, I have a new idea for a script title. “Don’t Stop Now” Loosely based on my experience with car accidents (that’s complicated). I’m not sure how it’s going to work out into a plausible (possibly short) story, but I’m sure I can figure something out. I obviously need a tagline, and maybe a plot would help.

I’ve been working on some plot ideas for my favorite tv show Psych (if you don’t watch it you should, seriously…NOW). Being an aspiring screenwriter these ideas need to go somewhere. Currently i’ve been funnelling them into fanfiction, but only ideas that could never make it on the show. Who knows, I might get a chance to work there someday?

In the meantime, gotta keep it to the simple student films. Just did some major editing on a screenplay two days ago. The original author/director/producer of the piece isn’t really into the writing part and because of my editing is going to give me co-writer credit. Sweet. My first school film (not for a class) where I get credited as writer(even if it’s co). I have to say, only one semester at film school, that’s pretty awesome.

 Ps-the plan is to write in this thing EVERY day. It should help my writing skills be maintained/improve.
